This role is open to both <strong>licensed attorneys and experienced non-JD negotiators</strong> with a strong background in derivatives documentation and counterparty negotiations.</p> <p>We have an immediate need for full-time and part-time talent with <strong>ISDA, CSA, repo, treasury clearing, and futures or futures agreement experience</strong>. Experience with <strong>equity derivatives</strong> is especially valuable. Opportunities are available nationwide, with a preference for talent based in <strong>New York.</strong></p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating derivatives and trading documentation, including ISDAs, CSAs, MRAs, GMRAs, and MSFTAs</li> <li>Managing counterparty negotiations and documentation workflows</li> <li>Supporting documentation for futures, equity derivatives, prime brokerage, equity financing, repo, securities lending, and related trading products</li> <li>Advising on or supporting collateral, clearing, netting, and counterparty risk matters</li> <li>Supporting treasury clearing and related documentation needs</li> <li>Partnering with legal, business, operations, risk, and compliance stakeholders to resolve negotiation and documentation issues efficiently</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Significant hands-on experience negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and Credit Support Annexes</li> <li>Experience with repurchase agreements, including MRAs and GMRAs; MSFTA experience may be considered for certain opportunities</li> <li>Experience with futures or futures agreements strongly preferred</li> <li>Treasury clearing experience strongly preferred</li> <li>Equity derivatives experience highly desirable; prime brokerage or equity financing experience will also be considered</li> <li>Netting expertise is a strong plus</li> <li>Strong negotiation, organization, communication, and project-management skills</li> <li>Ability to support full-time or part-time client needs; full-time availability is strongly preferred for ISDA negotiator opportunities</li> <li>A JD and active bar license are required for attorney roles; a JD is not required for ISDA negotiator roles</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation:</strong></h3> <p>The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.<strong> </strong>Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
