The role joins during the current F&O implementation, which provides a structured ramp into the platform, the solution design and Cortland's financial processes, and owns F&O development after go live. The role leads offshore developers and partners with the Senior Technical/Functional Lead on solution design. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Analysis and Solution Design</strong> </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Translate functional designs into detailed technical designs and build plans. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assess the technical impact of proposed customizations on financial data integrity, such as how an extension affects ledger posting, financial dimensions, or downstream data entities, in addition to standard technical feasibility. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide effort estimates for enhancements, integrations, and technical development activities. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Identify design and build risks early and recommend practical alternatives. </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Development</strong> </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Independently design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, integrations, and reports within D365 F&O, using extension patterns (Chain of Command, event handlers, table extensions) rather than over-layering. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Build and maintain data entities and DMF packages for data integration and bulk data operations, including staging tables and validation rules. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Implement Business Events and Dataverse dual-write / virtual entity integrations, working alongside the Enterprise Integration & Automation (EIA) team where needed. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare detailed technical design documentation prior to development. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Follow established development standards, best practices, and quality expectations. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Support environment management, code migration, build processes, and deployment activities. </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Testing, Deployment, and Support</strong> </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform unit testing to ensure developed solutions meet quality standards before delivery, including checks that ledger postings and financial dimension data remain correct and balanced. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Troubleshoot issues, execute application traces, and perform performance tuning as needed. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide ongoing production support, issue resolution and enhancement delivery. </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Leadership and Collaboration</strong> </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Mentor junior team members and support team development. </span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Foster a collaborative, solution-oriented, and service-focused team environment. </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including development, integrations, and deployment support.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated experience building or extending at least two of the following financial modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, or Project Acco
