We partner directly with internal engineering teams, operations, and foreign defense and intelligence entities to enable the rapid deployment of critical defense capabilities to our allied partners.<br><br><strong>About The Job</strong><br>As Anduril establishes and expands its operational footprint in Europe, we are seeking a seasoned, high-agency <strong>Senior Security Manager – Netherlands</strong> to serve as our primary security authority and designated Corporate Security Officer (<em>Beveiligingsambtenaar - BVA</em>).<br><br>This is a high-priority, foundational role. You will directly oversee the security accreditation of our new Netherlands facility—a prerequisite to clearing our growing local workforce—and establish our sovereign Dutch defense security framework from the ground up. In accordance with statutory governance requirements, this role <strong>maintains a direct reporting line to the Netherlands Board of Directors</strong>, serving as the trusted advisor on all national security posture, compliance, and regulatory matters.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></div> <ul> <li><strong>Facility Accreditation & Commissioning:</strong> Lead and execute the end-to-end process to obtain and maintain formal Dutch Ministry of Defence (MOD) Facility Security Clearance (FSC) / ABDO accreditation for Anduril’s new Netherlands site, unblocking the pathway for cleared personnel and classified work.</li> <li><strong>Designated Security Officer (BVA):</strong> Act as the formal, dedicated Security Officer (<em>Beveiligingsambtenaar</em>) for Anduril NL, holding statutory accountability for the entity’s defense security operations and serving as the primary liaison to the Dutch Military Intelligence and Security Service (MIVD).</li> <li><strong>Board Governance & Executive Reporting:</strong> Maintain a direct reporting line to the Netherlands Board of Directors; provide regular executive briefings on threat vectors, regulatory compliance, risk postures, and facility readiness.</li> <li><strong>Personnel Security (PERSEC) Lifecycle:</strong> Design, implement, and run the personnel security apparatus. Own security onboarding, vetting submissions (VGB), continuous aftercare, role transfers, and off-boarding processes acceptable to the Dutch MOD and MIVD.</li> <li><strong>Governance & Investigations:</strong> Conduct NL-specific security investigations, manage incident response, assess insider threat vectors, and execute required regulatory reporting under Dutch MOD rules and internal corporate standards.</li> <li><strong>Regulatory SME:</strong> Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Dutch defense regulations (ABDO), state-secret protection frameworks, and applicable European Union security directives.</li> <li><strong>Pragmatic Security Culture:</strong> Establish a pragmatic, modern security culture across Anduril NL. Develop and deliver localized Dutch security training that enforces strict compliance while maintaining startup speed and high engineering velocity.</li> <li><strong>Multinational Alignment:</strong> Partner closely with regional, international, and US/UK security leadership to harmonize global security policies, enable seamless international data and technology collaboration, and support rapid business growth.</li> </ul> <div><br><br><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></div> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Law, International Relations, Criminology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).</li> <li>8+ years of progressive security leadership experience within the Dutch defense sector, intelligence community, military, or a cleared defense prime operating in the Netherlands.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience preparing, certifying, and maintaining physical sites to obtain Dutch Ministry of Defence (MOD) Facility Security Clearances (FSC) under <strong>ABDO</strong> (<em>Algemene Beveiligingseisen voor Defensieopdrachten</em>) regulations.</li> <li>Direct experience performing the duties of, or working alongside, a designated <strong>Beveiligingsambtenaar (BVA)</strong> interfacing directly with the MIVD.</li> <li>Proven expertise in leading complex personnel security vetting (VGB), corporate security investigations, and insider threat programs.</li> <li>Demonstrated executive presence with experie
