In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of engineering professions on a wide variety of challenging project sites.</span></p> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Act as an on-site representative to provide leadership and daily observation of construction work for conformance to project documents and building codes;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Display thorough understanding of construction documents, contractor submittals and contracts;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and managers;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Write comprehensive inspection reports;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Attend project construction meetings;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain proper understanding of construction documents, contractor submittals, and contracts; and</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform other duties as requested.</span></li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">4+ years relevant experience;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Professional Engineer license;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Thorough understanding of construction documents, contractor submittals and contracts;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, clients and managers;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Good writing skills for comprehensive inspection reports, etc.;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Self-motivated and responsible individual;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Attend project construction meetings, as needed;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Possess the ability to work independently as well as in a group;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Willingness to work in the field up to 100% of the time; and</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Langan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives.
