This individual will serve a key function in leading and supporting design, permitting and client management/development efforts for a variety of land development projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow the Portland office and contribute directly to the overall growth of the Site/Civil discipline. </span></p> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Work closely with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Lead staffing and hiring initiatives for the Portland office;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients, develop additional work within an existing project, and attend business development meetings with new and existing clients;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments.
