<div class="content-intro"><hr> <p> </p></div><p><strong>Position: </strong>Mechanical Engineer</p> <p><em>Location:</em> Austin, Texas</p> <p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p> <p>Infinitum is looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer to work on site in our fan engineering team. In this role you will be a key contributor in developing proprietary commercial and industrial fan systems for Infinitum.<strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct product design and development following general design guidelines and tools including CAD programs.</li> <li>Conduct calculations and analysis using closed-form methods, computer applications, and FEA and other simulation tools. Develop calculation tools for specific problems.</li> <li>Support other departments and customers by addressing technical questions under general design guidelines.</li> <li>Review drawings, schematics, bills of material, and other documentation necessary to manufacture, test, install, and commission products.</li> <li>Create and enhance specific design guidelines by leveraging past experience and technical learning.</li> <li>Develop new products by providing input on specifications, designing and building prototypes, devising validation tests, and preparing supporting documentation.</li> <li>Provide input to project feasibility and cost analysis.</li> <li>Participate in product improvement, productivity improvement, standardization, cost reduction, and cycle time reduction initiatives.
