You will work side-by-side with client executives to solve complex workflow problems, build robust integrations, and empower enterprise teams to achieve <strong>Enterprise-Grade Orchestration</strong>.</p> <h3>What You’ll Do</h3> <ul> <li><strong>Architect & Implement:</strong> Design, develop, and deploy robust, custom automation solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle utilizing Appian’s low-code platform.</li> <li><strong>Integrate Ecosystems:</strong> Build seamless data connections and scalable APIs to integrate multiple external enterprise systems using <strong>REST</strong>, <strong>SOAP</strong>, and <strong>JDBC</strong> connections.</li> <li><strong>Engineer Data Models:</strong> Launch new relational data models in production environments and optimize database design through sophisticated <strong>SQL</strong> development.</li> <li><strong>Lead Agile Delivery:</strong> Partner within cross-functional teams using <strong>Agile</strong> methodologies (sprints, stand-ups, pair programming) to rapidly deliver high-value features.</li> <li><strong>Empower Clients:</strong> Collaborate closely with client technical teams and business stakeholders, driving platform adoption and training users to become self-sufficient.</li> </ul> <h3>Required Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li><strong>Language skills: </strong>Fluent English & Dutch </li> <li><strong>Degree:</strong> Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related technical field.</li> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 1+ years of hands-on experience in software development or technical implementation consulting.</li> <li><strong>Core Engineering:</strong> Proven track record with Object-Oriented Programming (<strong>OOP</strong>), database design, and <strong>SQL</strong> (writing complex queries, joins, and views).</li> <li><strong>Requirements Gathering:</strong> Demonstrated ability to analyze client business processes and translate them into functional and technical system requirements.</li> <li><strong>Mobility:</strong> Willingness to travel up to 20% to support customer engagements and on-site collaboration.</li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Familiarity with modern cloud architecture and environments, including Amazon Web Services (<strong>AWS</strong>), Google Cloud, or Elastic Containers.</li> <li>Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (<strong>AI</strong>), Machine Learning, Analytics, and automated test suites within a continuous integration framework.</li> <li>We value experience with enterprise platforms such as <strong>Salesforce</strong> or <strong>ServiceNow</strong>, as these skills translate well into our <strong>Enterprise-Grade Orchestration</strong> environment.</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The base salary range provided represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a government clearance differential. Actual compensation will be dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant work experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, and market and business conditions that exist when extending an offer.
