Varda also has offices in Washington, DC and Huntsville, AL.  Join Varda, and work to create a bustling in-space ecosystem.</div><h2>About this Role</h2> The Materials Manager will primarily support the expansion of inventory and kitting operations to new Varda locations and will also be a secondary backup to the Logistics Manager for inbound and outbound transportation scheduling and coordination. An individual who can thrive in a startup environment, implement process improvements, and support growth into multiple buildings is preferred.   <h2 style="line-height: 1.5;">Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Monitor material movements and process flow in the shop  </li> <li>Properly move material to/from receiving and production</li> <li>Develop scaling plans for material movement with multiple buildings </li> <li>Manage lifecycle of material from point of receipt </li> <li>Advise on supply chain material design, focusing on inventory optimization and strategic material movement cost-savings opportunities </li> <li>Design and manage a program that scales with the growth of the production volume and supply base </li> <li><span class="Te
