The team develops and sustains the critical electromechanical systems, drive systems, propulsion, actuation, and embedded electronics that make Anduril's autonomous systems work.  The Quality team works with our customers, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure the deployment of reliable products that meet all mission requirements. We develop cutting-edge Quality processes and methods to secure scalable, long-term business success. As a <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Product Quality Engineer,</strong> you will work inside and outside the organization to define and execute processes that deliver reliable products. The right person for this role has knowledge of manufacturing, product development, and continuous improvement as well as some experience with electromagnetic warfare systems such as RF countermeasures, electromagnetic energy, electronic masking, probing, reconnaissance, and intelligence along with electronic security, emission control, spectrum management. If you are someone who loves to build world-class Quality processes, work hands-on, and be accountable for results, then this role is for you.</p> <h4 id="ProductQualityEngineerEW-WHATYOU'LLDO">WHAT YOU'LL DO</h4> <ul> <li>Own the elimination of product risk to improve reliability across the product lifecycle with a key focus on PCBA product quality. Lead Quality activities from concept through development and manufacturing to field use.</li> <li>Define, execute, and continuously improve product and process requirements. Partner with production to establish and refine incoming material inspection, process control plans, and end of line test to capture the essential quality requirements for successful customer shipments.</li> <li>Drive cross-functional alignment to define and execute product quality requirements. Serve as the quality authority for your product line, influencing engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program stakeholders.</li> <li>Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities for critical PCBA and system level interactions. Coach junior engineers on investigation methodology. Review the effectiveness of actions and drive lessons learned across the product team and broader quality organization.</li> <li>Lead containment actions to segregate nonconforming parts on the production line. Establish containment protocols and ensure rapid response across shifts and work centers.</li> <li>Lead product health data analysis and improvement activities. Define quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting cadences. Support customer quality issues and refurbishment testing and quality control.</li> <li>Support change control board by identifying quality risks related to engineering changes of production parts. Provide data-driven risk assessments to inform disposition decisions.</li> <li>Drive the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. Define and improve required documentation, processes, and activities. Identify systemic gaps and lead initiatives to close them.</li> <li>Mentor and develop junior quality engineers and inspectors. Set technical standards and best practices for the product quality team.</li> <li>Support investigations, initiatives, and projects as needed, at the team or organization level.<br><br></li> </ul> <h4 id="ProductQualityEngineerEW-REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</h4> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field</li> <li>5+ years of experience in product quality, manufacturing quality, or reliability engineering for electronic systems or PCBA products</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of AS9100 based Quality Management System requirements</li> <li>Experience with the design and development of safety-critical circuitry of Ignition Safety Devices (ISD) and Electronic Safe and Arm Devices (ESAD)</li> <li>Develop and execute quality management strategies of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA)</li> <li>Demonstrated experience working with RF and/or electronic systems with particular experience in PCBA design, development, and sustainment</li> <li>Understanding of Gerber Files and reading schematics</li> <li>Usage of electrical instrumentation to assess RC in PCBA's such as, multimeter, Oscilloscope, Logic Probes, Thermal Cameras.</li> <li>IPC 610/620 and J-STD-001 knowledge - certification</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)</li> <li>Experience leading R
