You live and breathe cloud services that require high availability and fast, consistent performance.<br><br>You operate in an AI-first engineering environment, where you leverage advanced AI systems to inform design decisions, accelerate development, and improve system reliability. You are expected to drive adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices across teams, ensuring scalable and efficient development workflows.<br><br>You will work closely with product managers and designers to ensure we are building the right solution for our customers, while also mentoring engineers on both system design and AI-first development practices.</p> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <p><strong>Work Location: </strong>This role is based out of our Ho Chi Minh City office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.</p> <p><strong>Reports to: </strong>(Senior) Software Engineering Manager</p> <ul> <li><span data-path-to-node="0,0">Lead engineering architecture design reviews across multiple squads and teams, incorporating AI-driven insights and system modeling</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="0,2">Set a high technical bar through code and architecture reviews across the group, including evaluation of AI-generated code and design patterns</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="0,4">Mentor junior to senior engineers on scalable system design, technical strategy, and AI-first development practices</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="0,6">Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across multiple squads, establishing group-level standards and prompt engineering guidelines</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="0,8">Work across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to translate broad business and technical goals into engineering strategy and execution plans</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="0,10">Improve engineering processes across the organization by embedding automation, AI tooling, and intelligent workflows into planning and execution</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="0,12">Architect and build services that adhere to high standards on availability and latency for broad domain capabilities in a mission-critical environment</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="0,14">Leverage AI systems to optimize performance, observability, and operational efficiency across multi-team distributed systems</span></li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You Bring</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Required Skills</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field</li> <li><span data-path-to-node="1,1,0,0">8+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of executing broad technical initiatives</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="1,2,0,0">Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems and platform components or foundational services that support multiple teams and products</span></li> <li>Backend service experience in multiple managed languages such as Go, Java, Scala, C#, or similar</li> <li>Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores and designing scalable data architectures</li> <li>Experience building and operating public cloud-hosted services on Azure or AWS using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools</li> <li>Strong understanding of platform security concerns: identity, access control, data encryption, and secure service-to-service communication</li> <li><span data-path-to-node="1,7,0,0">Experience driving SLOs, SLAs, operational excellence, and an incident response culture across multi-team engineering organizations</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="1,8,0,0">Experience evaluating, integrating, and establishing organizational standards for AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows</span></li> <li><span data-path-to-node="1,9,0,0">Strong understanding of how AI can be applied to improve developer productivity, system design, and operational efficiency at a multi-squad level</span></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualification</strong></h3> <ul> <li>CI/CD Tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions</li> <li>Containerization : Docker, Podman&lt
