In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of waterfront design, urban revitalization and streetscape, smart growth planning, community design, retail and commercial site planning, healthcare and university campus design, rooftop gardens, green infrastructure, and brownfield redevelopment assignments. </span></p> <p> </p> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist discipline leadership with the planning, design and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development and planning projects;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate and work with staff to prepare site work cost estimates, zoning analyses and determine the feasibility of projects based on the analysis of collected data;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Write and review draft reports, including feasibility studies, proposals, and technical specifications;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Plan, schedule and develop task and project budgets. Prepare progress reports and draft change orders;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Monitor budgets, schedules, and project timelines. Minimize write-offs by keeping projects on budget;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide direct oversight and management of staff and senior staff for specific project assignments;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coach, train and motivate staff;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients, prepare proposals, develop additional work within an existing project, and attend business development meetings with new and existing clients;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Remain current on landscape architecture practices, guidelines, regulations, and best management practices and attend internal training to expand knowledge and skills; and</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform other duties as requested.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">8+ years prior related experience;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Landscape Architecture license in good standing;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Passion for design excellence and the challenges of creating inspiring places in urban environments;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Possess creative and exceptional technical skills in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Illustrator and 3D Modeling;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Travel may be required based on business needs and project assignments.
