Varda also has offices in Washington, DC and Huntsville, AL. </p> <p>Join Varda, and work to create a bustling in-space ecosystem.</p></div><h2>About this Role</h2> <p>As a Supply Chain Planner, you will work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, production, and engineering to ensure on-time supply for spacecraft builds. Responsibilities include executing supply chain strategies to ensure production goals to the manifest are achieved. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role with the opportunity to influence Varda's supply chain and production systems. </p> <p>This full-time exempt role located in our El Segundo headquarters. </p> <h2 style="line-height: 1.5;"><span class="EOP SCXW43698514 BCX0" data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":240,"335559739":240}">Responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li>Own demand and fulfilment planning for Varda capsule</li> <li>Ensure accurate lead times and inventory levels to enable production</li> <li>Maintain accurate configuration of assemblies through NPI changes</li> <li>Monitor inventory levels and the health of open orders, proactively addressing any issues or delays.</li> <li>Establish and monitor key metrics to track supply chain performance</li> <li>Conduct clear-to-build meetings with production and engineering teams</li> <li>Ensure demand is up to date with the latest engineering and lead times changes</li> <li>Define, manage, and continuously improve workflows within the ERP system</li> <li>Occasionally support placing purchase orders, fulfilling kits, and moving inventory as needed </li> </ul> <h2><span data-contrast="none">Basic Qualifications</span></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree plus 1+ years of experience working in one or more of the following; or 4+ years of experience working in one or more of the following:  <ul> <li>Engineering </li> <li>Purchasing </li> <li>Material or production planning </li> <li>Operations or supply chain management </li> <li>Master production scheduling </li> </ul> </li> <li>Some knowledge and understanding of ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor etc</li> </ul> <h2><span data-contrast="auto"><span data-contrast="none">Preferred Skills and Experience</span></span></h2> <ul> <li>Aerospace experience is helpful</li> <li>Technical knowledge and skills in coding and computer applications, (e.g. MS Office Suite, VBA, Smartsheet, SQL, Confluence, JIRA, Power BI, ION etc.)</li> <li>Self-motivated, quick learner, and ability to prioritize efforts to meet customer and company goals </li> <li>Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external supplier relationships in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment </li> <li>Exceptional analytical and organizational skills </li> <li>Excellent customer service skills, highly self-motivated </li> <li>Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills </li> <li>Detail-oriented, and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environment </li> </ul> <h2>Pay Range</h2> <ul> <li> <ul> <li> <p>Supply Chain Planner: $92,820-$125,580/per year</p> </li> <li> <p>Senior Supply Chain Planner: $125,306-$169,533/per year</p> </li> </ul> </li> <li>This role is on-site<strong> </strong>in El Segundo, CA</li> <li>Leveling and base or hourly salary are determined by job-related skills, education level, experience level, and job performance</li> <li>You will be eligible for incentives in the form of stock options and/or long-term cash awards</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h2>ITAR Requirements</h2> <p>Varda, like all employers, must ensure that its employees working in the United States are lawfully authorized
