In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist in leading the Survey team, with a shared passion for the challenge of merging the art of science and mapping.</span></p> <p> </p> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist discipline leadership with the planning, implementation and production of deliverables for land surveying projects;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Oversee and manage staff for specific project assignments. Supervise field work;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate and work with staff to prepare and/or modify field work scope, survey data, data reduction, project plans and revisions, and, final survey deliverables based on the analysis of collected data;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Write and/or review drafting and CAD file production, draft survey maps, proposals, written descriptions, and miscellaneous reports;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist in planning schedules and developing tasks and project budgets. Prepare progress reports and draft change orders;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Prepare draft invoices, project billings, and assist in payment collections;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Effectively use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and aerial photographs to assess project needs and assist in project approach;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist with office tasks including, but not limited to CAD drafting, data download, deed and map research, and filing;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As necessary, collect field data for preparation of surveys by using surveying equipment and software;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As necessary, assist in recovery of survey control and monumentation, construction layout, obtaining invert and subsurface utility information, and photo documentation of the project area; and</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform other duties as requested.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">High School diploma or equivalent required;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of survey experience in both the field and office;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson software and excellent computer skills;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">State Survey license or ability to obtain State license;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with proposal preparation and job estimates;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to perform complex boundary analysis and maintain quality control of survey deliverables;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven ability to manage multiple staff to meet project deadlines;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated ability to work as a team with various leve
