Working with cross Accounting, finance, and treasury teams you will perform month-end close execution, foreign exchange accounting, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing calculations, and complex balance sheet reconciliations. You will also participate in project automation and process improvement, leveraging tools; including Python, Sigma, SQL, and AI capabilities, to streamline legacy workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.</p> <h3><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Support on month-end close activities, including complex journal entries, financial accruals, intercompany eliminations, transfer pricing calculations, intercompany AR/AP billing, and FX variance analysis.</li> <li>Perform secondary book validation and ensure accuracy across multi-entity and statutory reporting ledgers.</li> <li>Assist with M&A opening balance sheet preparation and support monthly journal entries until acquired companies are fully integrated into Elastic.</li> <li>Maintain and update the Chart of Accounts (COA) to support evolving business structures and reporting requirements.</li> <li>Perform financial statement flux analysis (MoM, QoQ, YoY) to evaluate account behavior and deliver meaningful insights to finance leadership.</li> <li>Assist with audit preparation, balance sheet disclosures, and internal control compliance (SOX); help build reports and balance sheet reconciliations.</li> <li>Support process improvement and automation initiatives by leveraging the appropriate tools and languages; such as Python scripts, SQL queries, Sigma, and Excel Macros (VBA) to automate repetitive data processing and journal preparation.</li> <li>Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and data validation for systems implementations, ERP enhancements, and continuous software integration projects.</li> <li>Collaborate on foreign currency exchange (FX) management and multi-entity accounting across global subsidiaries.</li> <li>Utilize cutting-edge AI tools and workflow automation to eliminate operational bottlenecks, increase accuracy, and modernize daily ledger operations.</li> <li>Produce ad-hoc financial reporting, data analysis, and support special cross-functional finance projects.</li> </ul> <h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field (mandatory; CPA preferred)</li> <li>5+ years of professional accounting experience demonstrating progressive responsibility</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with major Enterprise ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) power user</li> <li>Advanced Excel technical capabilities (complex logic formulas, index/match, pivot modeling)</li> <li>Proven experience participating in system UAT testing, software implementations, and financial transformation projects</li> <li>Experience with foreign currency (FX) accounting, intercompany AR/AP billing, transfer pricing, and multi-entity global consolidations across global subsidiaries</li> <li>Early adopter mindset regarding AI accounting tools and generative automation to streamline workflows</li> </ul> <h3>Bonus Points</h3> <ul> <li>Demonstrated technical proficiency in Python and SQL for financial data extraction, cleaning, and workflow automation</li> <li>Experience with M&A accounting integration, opening balance sheet setup, Chart of Accounts maintenance, and secondary ledger validation</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br>Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.
