In this role, you will be highly involved in various aspects of the payroll processes and initiatives. We seek a hands-on, self-motivated individual with experience thriving in high-growth environments. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization.</p> <p><strong>Please note that this position is full-time and located onsite at our Redwood City office.</strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Process semi-monthly, multi state US payroll, including medical benefits, FSA, ESPP, 401(k) contributions and loans.</li> <li>Manage daily stock activities such as exercise and vesting.</li> <li>Work closely with HR team on employee matters including new hires, terminations, leave of absences and other changes that affect payroll.</li> <li>Maintain payroll operations by ensuring compliance with established company procedures and federal and state regulations.</li> <li>Prepare payroll journal entries and assist with GL account reconciliations for month-end close.</li> <li>Participate in quarterly reviews, annual audit, and SOX requests.</li> <li>Provide cross-functional support to the accounting team, including AP operations and GL, as business needs require.</li> <li>Act as the point of contact for payroll related questions and inquires.</li> <li>Assist in ad hoc requests including but not limited to 401(k) audit, worker’s comp audit, insurance renewals, benefits requests, and payroll cash flows.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.</li> <li>3+ years of experience processing U.S. payroll.</li> <li>Experience working in a high-growth company, preferably in the software industry.</li> <li>Proficiency in daily tasks but also adaptable to changing priorities.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Experience with NetSuite Payroll is a plus.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.</strong></span></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-size: 14px;">C3 AI provides excellent benefits, a competitive compensation package and generous equity plan. </span></p></div><div class="title">California Base Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$78,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$99,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p>C3 AI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
