You will be responsible for supporting high-velocity deployment of user-facing applications, internal services, and infrastructure at scale, while ensuring stability, reliability and automation.</p> <p>Offices based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire but flexible hybrid basis (circa one day every week on site)</p> <p>Any experience within robotics or start up / scale up environments desirable along with experience working on multiple cloud platforms vs being tied to just vendor.</p> <p>Open to the career background candidates are coming from (infrastructure, DevOps, site reliability, platform etc)</p> <p>Please apply for more information.</p> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities / Skills</u></strong></p> <p></p> <ul> <li><strong>Develop and Maintain CI/CD pipelines</strong> and developer tooling that supports multiple engineering teams with different technical requirements – enabling self-service, repeatable deployments, and high-throughput delivery.</li> <li><strong>Manage cloud infrastructure</strong> across a wide range of cloud providers, using Kubernetes, for both user-facing applications and internal services – provision, monitor, optimise cost, performance and reliability.</li> <li><strong>Build infrastructure-as-code</strong> (IaC) with Terraform on Terraform Cloud, establishing standards for repeatable environments, reducing manual processes and increasing automation.</li> <li>Support <strong>monitoring, logging, observability</strong> <strong>and alerting</strong> systems, via Grafana, to support production health, incident detection, root-cause analysis and rapid recovery.</li> <li>Drive a culture of<strong> DevOps best-practice</strong> across teams: infrastructure reliability, deployment-velocity, automated testing, rollback strategies, security/infrastructure hardening..</li> <li>Participate in <strong>incident response</strong>, perform post-mortems, establish improvements and ensure operational readiness.</li> <li>Experience (typically 3+ years) in DevOps, infrastructure or platform engineering roles in a high-growth tech company (scale-up) or equivalent.</li> <li>Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), infrastructure as code (ideally Terraform), containers (Docker), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tooling.</li> <li>Proven track record of building and managing CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions), automation frameworks and ideally self-service developer tooling (Backstage).</li> <li>Experience working cross-functionally with software engineering teams, understanding developer workflows and aligning infrastructure/tooling accordingly.</li> <li>Strong programming skills in either Python, Bash, Go or Typescript, and experience with configuration management tools.</li> <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills – able to articulate technical trade-offs, influence engineers and stakeholders, and drive adoption of infrastructure standards.</li> <li>A proactive, service-oriented mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.</li> </ul> <ul> <li> <ul> <li> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p></p> <p>Starting from the interview process and continuing into your career with us, you will be working by our four Operating Principles:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Performance: High standards, outstanding results,</strong></li> <li><strong>Impact: Big challenges, bigger results</strong></li> <li><strong>Commitment: All in, every time</strong></li> <li><strong>One team: One mission, shared success</strong></li> </ul> <p>Joining our team and company isn't just about expertise; it's about embracing uncertainty with ambition.
