This individual will serve a key function in providing engineering and technical analysis for complex environmental projects, as well as managing/supervising field investigations, system installations, and other environmental projects. Project areas include, but are not limited to, industrial water/wastewater sampling and treatment; soil and groundwater sampling; oversight of laboratory and pilot studies; remediation investigation, design, implementation, and monitoring; and report/ proposal preparation. Experience with per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) or chlorinated solvents is required. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage diverse projects, solve problems, and overcome challenges in returning blighted properties to re-use, while protecting the environment.</span></p> <p> </p> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop and implement complex remediation and treatment approaches, including feasibility studies, cost estimates, oversight of lab testing, pilot testing, and full-scale application;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretation of findings;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure that data collection and laboratory analyses are completed correctly, within budget, and on time;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Effectively organize, write, and edit reports, draft proposals, and other documents;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients and new work for existing clients. Coach, train, and motivate existing staff. Actively participate in internal and external technical presentations and produce written articles for internal and external publications; and</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform other duties as requested.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related engineering field; Master’s degree with environmental emphasis preferred;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">PE licensure;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">6-10 years of work-related experience;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with or education on Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and/or chlorinated solvents required;</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Understanding of federal and state environmental regulations;<
