Working as part of a 24/7 Critical Facilities Operations team, the technician ensures maximum equipment availability while supporting the site's commitments to energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational excellence.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <h3>Critical Facilities Operations</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Operate and monitor mechanical infrastructure using the Building Management System (BMS) and routine field inspections.</li> <li>Respond to alarms, equipment faults, and operational events in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).</li> <li>Record equipment readings, operating parameters, and shift activities.</li> <li>Support planned switching operations and maintenance windows.</li> </ul> <h3>Mechanical Maintenance</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.</li> <li>Troubleshoot mechanical failures and carry out repairs or coordinate vendor support.</li> <li>Assist with commissioning, recommissioning, and integrated systems testing.</li> <li>Maintain accurate maintenance records using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).</li> </ul> <h3>Mechanical Systems</h3> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Operate and maintain systems including:</p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Chilled water systems</li> <li>CRAH and CRAC units</li> <li>Chillers</li> <li>Air Handling Units (AHUs)</li> <li>Pumps and hydronic distribution systems</li> <li>Heat exchangers</li> <li>HVAC systems</li> <li>District cooling and heat recovery systems (where applicable)</li> <li>Water treatment systems</li> <li>Mechanical valves and piping</li> <li>Expansion vessels and pressure systems</li> </ul> <h3>Health, Safety & Compliance</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Work in accordance with Finnish occupational safety legislation and EU health and safety requirements.</li> <li>Follow Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and risk assessment procedures.</li> <li>Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).</li> <li>Participate in emergency response activities and incident investigations.</li> <li>Promote a strong safety culture and environmentally responsible work practices.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <h3>Education</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Vocational Qualification (Ammatillinen perustutkinto) or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.</li> <li>Equivalent technical or military experience may also be considered.</li> </ul> <h3>Experience</h3> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>2–5 years of experience maintaining mechanical systems in data centers, industrial facilities, manufacturing, hospitals, power generation, or other critical environments.</li> <li>Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and CMMS software is preferred.</li> </ul> <h2>Technical Skills</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Knowledge of:</p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>HVAC and cooling systems</li> <li>Chilled water and hydronic systems</li> <li>Pumps, motors, and heat exchangers</li> <li>Mechanical fault diagnosis</li> <li>Building Management Systems (BMS)</li> <li>Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)</li> <li>Mechanical drawings and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)</li> <li>Energy-efficient building systems</li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Occupational Safety Card (Työturvallisuuskortti)</li> <li>Hot Work Card (Tulityökortti)</li> <li>First Aid Certificate (EA1 or equivalent)</li> <li>Refrigerant handling qualification (where applicable)</li> <li>Fluent English (written and spoken)</li> <li>Finnish language skills are beneficial but not essential</li> </ul> <p><span data-contrast="auto"></sp
