To get there, we need a team of brilliant people who share that ambition to come and work for us. </p> <p><br><strong> </strong></p> <h2>🐾 The job: <span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'helvetica neue' , sans-serif; color: #000000; font-weight: 400;"> </span></h2> <ul> <li>Coordinate areas & shift responsibilities and work with the team leader to improve shift productivity (plan attainment)</li> <li>Conduct quality checks to ensure a great customer experience</li> <li>Be the go-to person for all other operatives on shift</li> <li>Attend daily review meetings, appointing other operatives duties and appointing staff role change overs</li> <li>Prepare for the shift ahead confirming enough materials and stock are prepared</li> <li>Conduct quality checks ensuring that we meet product specifications</li> <li>Perform machine/equipment hygiene and changeovers</li> <li>Work to relevant standards and Key Performance Indicators</li> <li>Be humble in work duties, being open to jump on the production line, get stuck in with cleaning duties and helping other areas of the business</li> </ul> <h2>👀 What we're looking for: </h2> <ul> <li>Previous experience as a line leader or area leader within the food manufacturing sector</li> <li>Ability to read and communicate confidently in English</li> <li>Numerate (able to understand and work with numbers)</li> <li>Available for a rotating shift schedule - a mixture of days / nights and some weekend working</li> <li>Hard-working & diligent with a hunger to learn</li> <li>Comfortable working with raw materials such as beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb</li> <li>Flexible, pragmatic, resilient & humble</li> <li>Committed to food quality & safety</li> <li>Loves dogs (naturally)</li> <li>Please note: At Butternut, we are passionate about building a diverse & inclusive team that cares for one another.
