AlphaGov is seeking a Digital Transformation Consultant to lead enterprise operational-excellence and digital-transformation assessment work for a state government client — evaluating current-state operations, technology maturity, and recommending a practical transformation roadmap. What you'll do: • Assess enterprise operations and digital maturity across process, technology, and organizational dimensions • Identify improvement opportunities and prioritize a transformation roadmap with measurable outcomes • Facilitate stakeholder interviews and working sessions with agency leadership • Produce client-ready assessment findings, recommendations, and implementation sequencing • Contribute digital-transformation qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned Requirements Required: • Digital transformation, IT strategy, or enterprise operational-excellence consulting experience • Public-sector or large-enterprise assessment / roadmap delivery • Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites Nice to have: • State-government enterprise architecture or ERP-adjacent advisory experience • Lean / Six Sigma / operational-excellence credentials • Prior Louisiana or Deep South state-agency consulting
