Solution Engineer

As a Solution Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in helping organizations understand how modern Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) solutions can transform the way they operate. You'll partner with sales teams, engage directly with senior stakeholders, deliver impactful software demonstrations, and become a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey. This is an opportunity to develop deep product expertise, influence strategic purchasing decisions, and accelerate your career in a high-growth SaaS environment.</p> <h2>Here's a breakdown of what you'll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):</h2> <ul> <li>Deliver engaging, consultative product demonstrations that address customer business challenges and goals</li> <li>Partner closely with Account Executives to drive the technical strategy behind new opportunities and support successful deal outcomes</li> <li>Work with customers to understand requirements and design solutions that align with their needs</li> <li>Present confidently to audiences ranging from operational users to executive stakeholders</li> <li>Collaborate with Product Management and other internal teams to share market feedback and support product innovation</li> <li>Represent Diligent through customer-facing events, webinars, and industry engagements</li> </ul> <h2>These are the essentials you'll need to get an interview:</h2> <ul> <li>3-5 years of experience in a Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or similar customer-facing technical role</li> <li>Proven experience delivering software demonstrations and presenting solutions to customers</li> <li>Strong ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage audiences at all levels</li> <li>Experience working alongside sales teams to support complex software sales cycles</li> <li>Ability to quickly learn new technologies, products, and business domains</li> <li>A proactive, self-driven approach with a passion for continuous learning and development</li> </ul> <h2>It would be great if you had these too, but we'll support you if you don't:</h2> <ul> <li>Experience within Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Ethics & Compliance, Risk Management, or Third-Party Risk Management</li> <li>Experience working in a SaaS environment</li> <li>Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies</li> <li>Knowledge of Salesforce, Gong, or similar sales enablement platforms</li> <li>Relevant certifications or specialist expertise in a compliance, risk, or governance domain</li> </ul> <p>At Diligent, you'll join a collaborative team that values curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning.
