The Capital Program’s staff consists of design and construction professionals; administrative staff; and project support analysts who work together to provide physical infrastructure, facilities, and amenities. We work to strengthen the City’s competitive position through the implementation of a wide variety of municipal construction projects.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p> <p><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span><span data-contrast="auto">A Project Director (PD) in the Capital Program Department (CAP) will implement a design and construction portfolio of 6-10 active capital projects with a total project value of about $100 million. Reporting to a Vice President in CAP, Project Directors manage all aspects of design and construction across multiple projects on behalf of both NYCEDC and other City agencies. Project types include waterfront development, buildings, major infrastructure, and public open spaces.
