Your work will focus on enhancing the platform's key features, while also balancing scalability, reusability, and performance.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview:</strong><br><br>We're looking for a Staff Platform Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of our Engineering organization. You'll own the technical strategy, and delivery of our platform — spanning architecture, DevOps, SRE, security, Dev-ex. </p> <p>This is a hands-on staff level role: you'll set technical direction, drive cross-team alignment, and be the senior escalation point for platform challenges.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Drive platform reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency across all environments.</li> <li>Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership for platform components, Influence the technical strategy and architecture of our cloud platform, from CI/CD pipelines to observability and incident response.</li> <li>Design and implement platform components and reusable integration patterns that minimize custom development efforts, reduce the time spent on repetitive tasks, and ensure that integrations scale across multiple healthcare systems</li> <li>Partner closely with Architecture, DevOps, SRE, and Security teams to deliver cohesive platform solutions</li> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product teams, and solutions architects to understand integration needs and ensure the platform meets current and future business requirements.</li> <li>Serve as a senior escalation point for infrastructure and platform incidents</li> <li>Establish frameworks for: AI governance and compliance. Observability of systems. Traceability of decisions and outputs. Ensure enterprise readiness with security, auditability, and reliability in production environments.</li> <li><strong>Security & Compliance</strong>: Ensure all platform components and integrations comply with healthcare security and privacy regulations and adhere to industry best practices for data security.</li> </ul> <p><strong>ISMS roles and responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Good knowledge of Information practices.</li> <li>Assist the manager in all the information security activities implementation and maintenance process.</li> <li>Ensuring the team and imparted with Competence related to Information security</li> <li>Responsible for implementation of security policies and procedures and report any issues to the Information Security Manager.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><strong>Must-Haves</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>10+ years</strong> of software platform and infrastructure engineering experience, with <strong>2+ years at Staff or Principal level</strong> (or equivalent impact)</li> <li>Deep expertise in <strong>AWS</strong> (ECS, Lambda, CloudFormation/Terraform, IAM, networking, security controls)</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>containerization</strong>, designing <strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong> (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar) and GitOps workflows</li> <li>Production ownership mindset — you've owned <strong>SRE-level reliability</strong> (SLOs/SLIs, incident management, runbooks, post-mortems)</li> <li>Expertise in observability stacks (Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK/Kibana, or equivalent)</li> <li>Strong understanding of security engineering principles — secrets management, zero-trust networking, Okta, IAM policies, encryption at rest/in-transit.</li> <li>Ability to proactively identify and resolve platform issues, ensuring high availability, minimal downtime, and a streamlined integration experience for users.</li> <li>Experience in designing and building platforms, data processing, data warehousing, and integrated ML tooling.</li> <li>Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, operations, architecture) to ensure platform components meet the needs of the business.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-Haves</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in a regulated industry (healthcare, fintech, or similar) with working knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST)</li> <li>Experience with <strong>data platform infrastructure</strong> — data pipelines, ETL orchestration (Step Functions, Glue, Airflow)</li> <li>Background in <strong>platform-as-a-product</strong> thinking — developer experience, internal tooling, self-service platforms</li> <li>Contributions to <strong>open-source</strong> infrastructure tooling or published technical writing</li> </ul> <p><strong>Ability to commute/relocate:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Interview Process*:</strong></p> <ol> <li>Connect with Talent Acquisition for a Preliminary Phone Screening</li> <li>Meet your Hiring Manager!</li> <li>Live System Design Exercise </li> <li&g
