You’ll work closely with Solutions Architects to understand their workflows and challenges, and turn those needs into practical, scalable tools.</p> <p>You’ll have significant ownership and the opportunity to take projects from <strong>problem → prototype → production</strong>.</p> <p>This is not a traditional internal IT or support role. We’re looking for a strong developer who enjoys solving real-world technical problems, working closely with technical users, and building tools that have an immediate impact.</p> <h2>What You’ll Do</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Build internal tools and applications for the Solutions Architecture organization.</p> </li> <li> <p>Automate repetitive technical and operational workflows.</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop tools that improve solution design, customer preparation, demos, technical discovery, and documentation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Work directly with Solutions Architects to understand their needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prototype quickly, validate with users, and turn successful prototypes into production-quality tools.</p> </li> <li> <p>Integrate internal systems, APIs, data sources, and third-party platforms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with Engineering and Product teams when tools need to integrate with Eon’s core platform.</p> </li> <li> <p>Own projects end-to-end, from defining the problem through development, deployment, and iteration.</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify opportunities to improve the productivity and effectiveness of the Solutions organization through software and automation.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>What We’re Looking For</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Strong software engineering background with experience building production-quality applications and tools.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong programming skills in Python and/or another modern programming language.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience building internal tools, automation, developer tools, or SaaS applications.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into simple, useful solutions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work directly with technical users and understand their workflows.</p> </li> <li> <p>A builder mentality — you enjoy taking an idea from a conversation to something people can actually use.</p> </li> <li> <p>Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Nice to Have</h2> <ul> <li> <p>Experience working with or within a Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, FDE, or customer-facing engineering organization.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern SaaS architectures.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience building tools for technical or customer-facing teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with enterprise software or complex technical environments.</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Why Eon</h2> <p>You’ll have the opportunity to build the internal engineering capabilities that enable a rapidly growing Solutions organization.</p> <p>Rather than inheriting an established platform, you’ll have the opportunity to <strong>build from the ground up</strong>, work directly with the people using what you create, and see your work have an immediate impact across the company.</p> <p>If you’re a strong engineer who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, working closely with technical teams, and building things that people actually use, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact at Eon.</p>
