In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the high availability, scalability, and performance of critical services. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, you will architect infrastructure automation solutions that streamline engineering operations, empower developers through self-service lifecycle management, and support business growth.</p> <h2 data-path-to-node="6"><br>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h2> <ul data-path-to-node="7"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Architect & Scale Infrastructure:</strong> Design, deploy, and maintain scalable multi-cloud and on-premises environments across VMware, OpenStack, and bare-metal Kubernetes clusters to meet organization-wide standards.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Automate CI/CD & Workload Lifecycles:</strong> Develop infrastructure-as-code and automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline day-to-day operations and enable self-service VM and container lifecycle management for engineering teams.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Drive Observability & System Reliability:</strong> Establish enterprise observability standards—leveraging monitoring, logging, and metrics frameworks—to maintain high uptime and rapidly diagnose complex infrastructure issues.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Collaborate & Modernize Operations:</strong> Partner with internal business units to translate technical requirements into robust architectures, share DevOps best practices, and continuously optimize platform efficiency.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="7,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="7,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Ensure Operational Excellence:</strong> Provide ongoing infrastructure support across public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP), contribute to technical documentation, and participate in a "follow-the-sun" on-call rotation.</p> </li> </ul> <h2 data-path-to-node="9">WHAT YOU BRING</h2> <h3 data-path-to-node="10"><br>Core Qualifications</h3> <ul data-path-to-node="11"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="11,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="11,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Systems & DevOps Expertise:</strong> 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and automating large-scale VMware, OpenStack (Yoga or newer preferred), and enterprise Kubernetes environments on bare metal.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="11,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Infrastructure Automation & Code:</strong> Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (<strong data-path-to-node="11,2,0" data-index-in-node="82">Python, Go, or Java</strong>) alongside infrastructure automation tools such as <strong data-path-to-node="11,2,0" data-index-in-node="153">Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet</strong>.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="11,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Observability & Networking:</strong> Solid foundation in core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Open vSwitch) and experience implementing observability stacks using tools like <strong data-path-to-node="11,3,0" data-index-in-node="164">Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Logstash, or Fluent-bit/Fluentd</strong>.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="11,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Cloud & Virtualization:</strong> Practical experience managing virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, KubeVirt) and providing automated infrastructure support across major public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="11,5,0"><strong data-path-to-node="11,5,0" data-index-in-node="0">Soft Skills:</strong> Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset suited for cross-functional teamwork.</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="12"><br>Preferred Qualifications</h3> <ul data-path-to-node="13"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="13,0,0">Hands-on experience running virtualised or containerised infrastructure on <strong data-path-to-node="13,0,0" data-index-in-node="75">Pure Storage</strong> products (FlashArray, FlashBlade, Portworx).<
