The Manager supervising nursing clinical education, professional development, and ensuring high-quality patient care outcomes through effective staff training and development across various healthcare settings in the Luminis Health system.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Key Responsibilities:</span></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Oversight & Administration:</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"> Managing the operations and staff within the nursing education department across Luminis Health facilities (Anne Arundel Medical Center, Doctors Community Medical Center, McNew Mental Health Hospital, Pathways).</span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Nurse Residency Program:</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"> Supervising the Nurse Residency Program, ensuring alignment and collaboration with the NRP coordinators to review and improve the curriculum.</span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Manages the application for Practice Transition Accreditation Program® (PTAP) and the alignment of health system NRP programs necessary to achieve accreditation. </span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Budget Management:</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"> Managing the HSCRC nursing grant budget, ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations, and collaborating with senior leadership (CFO, CNO) to obtain budget approval across Luminis Health facilities (Anne Arundel Medical Center, Doctors Community Medical Center, McNew Mental Health Hospital).</span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Regulatory Compliance:</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"> Ensuring adherence to educational and training requirements outlined by agencies like The Joint Commission, CMS, Magnet, and Pathways to Excellence. Collaborating with leaders from Clinical Excellence Centers (Cardiac, Stroke, Bariatric) to monitor compliance.</span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">Staff Management & Development:</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;"> Supervising the performance and development of NPD specialists/assistants, providing mentoring, feedback, and leadership.
