You’ll build benchmarks, demos, and real-world use cases that put IoT SIM and eSIM, private networking, Edge Compute, and Telnyx Inference to work together at the edge. You’ll report to the Director of AEO and join the Developer Relations team’s standups three times a week, so your work stays closely aligned with DevRel while it feeds the content that wins search and AI answers. This role blends developer relations, solutions engineering, and hands-on hardware work, requiring someone who can take a product from a blank repo to a working device in the field, measure how it performs, and turn the result into a demo that makes the advantages of the Telnyx network obvious.</p> <p class="p1"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li class="p1"><strong>Benchmarking:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Design and run repeatable benchmarks for latency, throughput, reliability, and cost</li> <li class="p1">across Telnyx Inference, Edge Compute, and connectivity, and publish methodology and results</li> <li class="p1">developers can reproduce.</li> <li class="p1"><strong>Field Demos on Real Devices:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Build and operate working deployments on real hardware with</li> <li class="p1">Telnyx IoT SIM and eSIM installed, such as cellular modems, gateways, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32,</li> <li class="p1">and show them in action in the field, with some travel for field demos and events.</li> <li class="p1"><strong>Edge AI Use Cases:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Create reference demos that combine connectivity, private networking, Edge</li> <li class="p1">Compute, and Telnyx Inference, showing what businesses can build when AI runs close to their</li> <li class="p1">devices and users.</li> <li class="p1"><strong>Compliance by Configuration:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Build demos that show how teams can meet their compliance</li> <li class="p1">requirements by configuring Telnyx exactly the way they need, including in-region inference, data</li> <li class="p1">residency, zero data retention, and private connectivity.</li> <li class="p1"><strong>Sample Apps & Open Source:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Publish working sample apps, starter kits, and repos on GitHub,</li> <li class="p1">and keep them tested against current APIs, SDKs, and firmware.<strong>Developer Advocacy:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Present demos through videos, livestreams, workshops, meetups, and</li> <li class="p1">conferences, and partner with Content to turn every build into tutorials and posts.</li> <li class="p1"><strong>Developer Feedback Loop:</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Be the first user of new products and bring friction points from the</li> <li class="p1">field, GitHub, Discord, Reddit, and X back to Product and Engineering.</li> </ul> <p class="p1"><strong>What we are looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li class="p1">Experienced developer relations engineer, solutions engineer, or developer advocate who knew this</li> <li class="p1">work before AI and could stil
