The Software Engineer-II for Ads builds the data, analytics, and product experiences that help Merchants and Brands understand advertising performance and decide where to invest next. This role will strengthen the Ads experience across the customer-facing Brand Experience platform and the internal Merchant Station platform by turning complex advertising data and business logic into clear, actionable insights. Ads, together with DART and margin calculators, is a critical input into day-to-day Merchant decisions. The current Ads experience is one of the least-used areas in Brand Experience because it does not yet provide essential data, including keyword-level detail, or a compelling explanation of performance. This engineer will help overhaul that experience, support rapid proofs of concept, and build scalable capabilities that contribute to Merchandising's goal in additional programmatic Brand support across Ads, Promotions, and Pricing Support.
