By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built. Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen. If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for. The Role We are in search of senior sales and customer business development professionals with the drive to build strong, value-driven relationships with market leaders that support our growth objectives. This role reports to the Director of Sales and calls for an experienced strategic enterprise seller — someone with a substantial track record in high-level, strategic sales roles at manufacturing companies who embraces the value of planning, process, and execution against company and customer goals. This person is naturally driven to develop value-based relationships with customer executives, to build and execute co-developed strategic growth plans, and to work cross-functionally with both internal teams and customer stakeholders to deliver against those plans. Hadrian has strong access to stakeholders at Space and Defense primes, and a clear path to turn proof-of-concept manufacturing at the business-unit level into transformation programs at the corporate executive level. We start with executives who champion strategic supply-chain change, then work throughout the organization to define value, co-develop strategic growth plans, and execute. Success in this role depends on fluency in how Aerospace and Defense suppliers are qualified and onboarded. The right candidate understands the requirements and cadence behind AS9100 certification, quality audits, and business assessments; the handling and compliance demands of ITAR; and the qualification gates that govern new work, including First Article Inspections (FAIs) and Production Part Approval Processes (PPAPs). They are comfortable navigating multi-year commitments and the contractual flowdowns that accompany defense programs, and they can speak credibly to these topics with both customers and internal teams. What Hadrian Offers • Greenfield opportunity with customers that currently spend $100M–$3B annually at existing vendors we are disrupting • Ability to sell two “products” where we have fundamental speed and cost advantages over legacy competitors • Strong brand awareness and market momentum with natural industry tailwinds • A highly energized, driven, and team-oriented company culture • Equity incentives • An opportunity to help strengthen America’s supply chain and readiness What We're Looking For • A proven track record in high-level, strategic sales roles at manufacturing companies, with the technical credibility to build trust around custom, build-to-print, precision manufacturing • Working knowledge of Aerospace and Defense qualification and onboarding — AS9100, quality audits and business assessments, ITAR, First Article Inspections, PPAPs, multi-year commitments, and contractual flowdowns • Experience developing and closing multi-million-dollar contracts with Space and Defense primes and their suppliers • A working model of cross-functional customer planning and process-based strategic enterprise selling • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders — from executive leaders to buyers, quality, and design engineers, and across a customer’s own supply-chain, program, and quality organizations • Deep working knowledge of supply chain and precision manufacturing — sufficient to earn technical trust with engineers and executives alike • Hardware, services, and/or infrastructure sales background • High EQ and IQ, with the ability to grasp real customer pain points and opportunities and construct a plan to solution and execute against them • Ability to drive multi-year engagements with customers (e.g., start with one division, then three, then the entire company) • Enjoys a fast-paced, high-expectation environment • A true team player, driven by creating customer and company impact What Will Set You Apart • Strong industry relationships that will support your success at Hadrian • Strong technical acumen and prior experience selling digital, Cloud, ERP, or other large transformation programs into Space / Defense primes • Founder mentality • High EQ Compensation For this role, the target salary range is 175,000 - 215,000 (actual range may vary based on experience) in addition to commission and equity. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
