Job details • Teach Art to middle school students, tailoring lessons to their developmental stage and individual needs • Organise art exhibitions and creative activities that give students a platform to showcase their work • Design an innovative art curriculum that brings in diverse cultural and artistic elements • Manage the classroom with a positive, nurturing atmosphere, supporting each student's progress and wellbeing • Communicate regularly with parents and offer guidance on their child's creative growth • Keep up with trends in international art education and continue developing your own practice • Maximum of 25 teaching periods per week, with occasional weekend or after-school work for student activities and competitions Requirements • Excellent spoken and written English, with clear pronunciation • Bachelor's degree or above in Fine Arts, Art Education or a related subject • At least 2 years of art teaching experience at middle school level, ideally in an international school • Recognised teaching qualification • Specialism in either 2D or 3D art; experience organising art exhibitions strongly preferred • Passionate, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting Benefits Salary and benefits • Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and background • Monthly housing allowance of 2,000 RMB per month • Free meals on campus • Annual flight allowance • Comprehensive medical insurance • Professional development and career progression opportunities • Fully paid summer and winter holidays • Public holidays
