You will be responsible for technical leadership, people management, and delivery execution, ensuring that your team produces high-quality, high-performance code for enterprise-grade networking systems.</p> <p>Note: Cyber/Network security domain experience is a must.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage a team of engineers (mix of senior, mid-level, and junior developers).</li> <li>Drive sprint planning, estimations, and execution tracking; ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.</li> <li>Balance short-term goals with long-term technical sustainability.</li> <li>Build a culture of accountability, technical rigor, and collaboration within the team.</li> <li>Support hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews for team members.</li> <li>Participate in architecture and design reviews</li> <li>Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to translate product requirements into robust, maintainable implementations.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and guide resolution of production and integration issues when required.</li> <li>Partner with the Director of Engineering and other managers to align on delivery priorities and architecture decisions.</li> <li>Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and Product Management to ensure seamless integration and release readiness.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience & Leadership:</strong> 12+ years in C/C++ software engineering in IP networking/firewall security, with 2–3+ years leading or managing teams in a cybersecurity product environment.</li> <li><strong>Core Systems Programming:</strong> Advanced <strong>C / C++</strong> proficiency in Linux/embedded OS environments, including multi-threading, IPC, memory management, and daemon architectures.</li> <li><strong>Management Plane & Frameworks:</strong> Hands-on design of NGFW configuration frameworks, service APIs (REST/RPC), CLI engines, structured logging/syslog, and secure remote access
