The Director owns the hands-on administration of all Agriculture Platform carrier agreements, covering Approved Insurance Providers (AIPs) and other agricultural insurance carriers. The role manages AIP commission administration, coordinates carrier-provided underwriting capacity and appetite across the Agriculture Platform, and serves as the primary point of contact for agents’ carrier, capacity, commission and contract questions. Working closely with Legal, Accounting and agents, this leader keeps agreements current, commission records accurate, capacity information clear and inquiries moving through resolution. The role translates approved terms into reliable daily processes and clear agent communications while supporting productive carrier relationships. Receiving and reconciling commissions from AIPs is distinct from supporting agent compensation questions. The role does not independently set rates, authorize payments, provide legal advice or bind the company; required approvals and execution remain with authorized decision-makers. Coordination of carrier-provided capacity does not confer authority to bind coverage, guarantee capacity or override carrier underwriting decisions. Key responsibilities All carrier agreements and lifecycle administration Manage all Agriculture Platform carrier agreements, not only AIP contracts, from intake through amendments, renewals and approved termination. Maintain a central repository of executed agreements, current approved terms and commission schedules, with version control, access controls, obligation tracking and renewal deadlines. Identify missing documents, coordinate required actions and communicate approved changes to Accounting, agents and other affected teams. AIP commission administration and Accounting reconciliation Manage the administration of commissions received from AIPs in partnership with Accounting. Validate receipts and calculations against current approved AIP schedules, accounting for variations by product, geography, effective date and applicable conditions. Investigate discrepancies with AIPs and Accounting, coordinate corrections and true-ups, retain supporting records and follow through to resolution. Communicate verified schedule changes and their implications without assuming authority to set rates or approve payments. Agent questions, service and compensation support Serve as the primary point of contact for agent carrier, capacity, commission and contract questions. Explain current approved terms and agent contractual compensation transparently, distinguishing agent compensation arrangements from commissions received from AIPs. Work directly with agents, Accounting, Legal and carriers as needed to investigate questions, provide updates and confirm resolution. Route rate or payment decisions to authorized approvers rather than making blanket commitments. Legal review, approvals and execution coordination Work with Legal on review of carrier agreements, amendments and renewals, routing legal interpretation and compliance questions to the appropriate specialists. Coordinate approval of proposed terms and execution by authorized signatories, then retain the approved and executed documents in the repository. Track outstanding reviews and approvals through completion. This administrative ownership does not confer signature authority or independent legal authority. Carrier agency codes, onboarding and acquisition integration Coordinate carrier agency codes and appointments with carriers and operational teams, verifying readiness for agent onboarding and addressing access questions. Support acquisition onboarding by collecting carrier, agency and agent agreements, identifying missing documents or approvals, and coordinating Legal review. Bring acquired agreements, approved AIP schedules and related commission processes into platform records, working with Accounting and agents to communicate applicable terms and outstanding actions. Carrier relationship support and cross-functional coordination Maintain productive working relationships with AIPs and other carriers
