The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment, collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and merchandising teams to craft compelling copy for product descriptions, digital marketing campaigns, and blog posts.</p> <p><strong>WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Write engaging and persuasive copy for e-commerce product descriptions and wholesale following our content and copywriting guidelines</li> <li>Support to create compelling content for digital marketing campaigns</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with marketing strategies</li> <li>Availability to come onsite to our Manhattan office 3-4 days per month </li> <li>Freelance position will be approximately 30 hours/week. Hours to fall between 9:00 am-6:00 pm EST for collaboration with team</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT WE WANT TO SEE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field</li> <li>2-3 years of proven experience in copywriting, preferably in the e-commerce or fashion industry</li> <li>Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for copywriting, such as natural language generation platforms</li> <li>Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices</li> <li>Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively</li> <li>Must submit a link or attachment including any relevant copywriting work and/or a portfolio </li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Starting hourly range for this role is $50.00-$60.00. Starting offer within that range will factor in work location, skills, background and years of relevant experience</li> </ul>
