The Senior Chemist Performs advanced analytical testing of dietary supplement, cosmetic, personal care, and related products using established and emerging analytical methodologies. Responsible for generating, interpreting, and reviewing analytical data; troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation; supporting method development and validation activities; and serving as a technical resource within the laboratory. Ensures compliance with quality, accreditation, and regulatory requirements while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.</p> <p data-start="186" data-end="209"><strong data-start="186" data-end="207">Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform complex analytical testing using techniques including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, GC/MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, <br>UV-Vis, FTIR, titration, gravimetric analysis, and other approved methodologies.</li> <li>Prepare samples, standards, reagents, calibration solutions, and quality control materials in accordance with <br>approved procedures.</li> <li>Review, interpret, and evaluate analytical data to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with quality <br>requirements.</li> <li>Identify atypical, out-of-specification (OOS), or questionable results and assist with investigations, root cause <br>analysis, and corrective actions.</li> <li>Operate, calibrate, maintain, qualify, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including IQ/OQ/PQ <br>activities as applicable.</li> <li>Participate in proficiency testing and quality assurance activities required by ISO 17025 and other accreditation <br>standards.</li> <li>Maintain analytical records, instrument logs, calibration records, and quality documentation in accordance with <br>regulatory and accreditation requirements.</li> <li>Assist in the development, optimization, validation, and implementation of analytical methods and laboratory <br>procedures.</li> <li>Draft, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical <br>documentation.</li> <li>Serve as a technical resource for laboratory personnel and provide guidance on analytical methodologies, <br>instrumentation, and troubleshooting.</li> <li>Train and mentor laboratory personnel on laboratory techniques, instrumentation, quality systems, and <br>laboratory procedures.</li> <li>Cross-train across multiple laboratory functions and provide operational support as needed.</li> <li>Assist laboratory leadership with workflow coordination, technical problem solving, and departmental initiatives.&
