It’s an established, owner-led private practice that has been treating its local community for over a decade, and it’s looking for a physio who prefers using their hands and their exercise prescription over leaning on machines. What the practice looks like • Walk-ins are welcome and no referral is needed, so your diary has real variety • A mix of neck and back pain, sports injuries and general MSK presentations, from weekend players through to serious competitors • Aged care and home visits on top of clinic work, plus after hours appointments • In-house remedial massage therapists, so patients can be referred internally • Private health (HICAPS on site), WorkCover and NDIS patients in the mix • Led by a principal physio with a background in elite sport, with the focus on education so patients understand their condition and leave with a plan What you’ll be doing • Assessing and treating MSK conditions using manual therapy and targeted exercise prescription • Building clear rehab plans that get people back to work, sport and daily life • Educating patients so they can manage their recovery between sessions • Working with sports and workplace injuries, including WorkCover claims • Attending aged care and home visits as part of your caseload (to be confirmed with the team) • Keeping accurate notes and communicating with referrers and funding bodies What we’re looking for • AHPRA registered Physiotherapist • Private practice experience, or a strong interest in moving into it • Confident hands-on skills, including manual therapy, alongside exercise based rehab • Clear communicator who explains things in plain language • Comfortable with a varied caseload across different ages and settings • Open to new graduates through to experienced clinicians, with the package matched to experience What’s in it for you • Longer consults, so you can assess properly and treat well • A varied caseload across sport, workplace injury and aged care • Referral pathways to on-site massage therapists • A practice that is established, local and community focused • Flexibility on hours, to be discussed • Competitive package based on experience Why Bankstown A busy transport hub with train access, plenty of great places to eat, and a strong local community feel.
