Regardless of the position one holds, each team member brings their talent and desire to positively impact the environment and lives of others in a refreshing, vibrant, and inclusive culture.  </p> <p>Beta Technologies is seeking a Supplier Compliance Engineer who will partner with members of the Materials & Process, Programs, and Procurement teams to onboard, assess, monitor, and maintain suppliers on BETA’s Approved Supplier List</p> <p><strong>How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="none">Be a focal for new supplier onboarding, reassessment, and special process witnessing audits.</span> </li> <li>Perform rate readiness assessments to determine supplier’s capacity and constraints. </li> <li>Conduct conformity readiness assessments to provide an overview of the conformity process, assess processes-in-place, and process outputs to support future Conformity Inspections.  </li> <li>Act as a conduit for clarifying and assessing aerospace and BETA’s quality requirements. <span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559685":720,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":360,"335559991":360}"> </span></li> <li>Work directly with domestic and international suppliers. </li> <li>Verify and evaluate the control of supplier’s QMS and of applicable special processes. <span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559685":720,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":360,"335559991":360}"> </span></li> <li>Responsible for SCAR creation, issuing, tracking, and collaborating with suppliers on RCCA for identified findings during assessments. </li> <li>Review KPIs of supplier rating system and help determine BETA’s level of oversight and generate audit reports based on the items above. </li> <li>Assist in the continuous improvement of BETA’s processes regarding Supplier Management and Supply Chain practices. <span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335551550":1,"335551620":1,"335557856":16777215,"335559685":720,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":360,"335559991":360}"> </span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="none">Four-year degree in Engineering or related field</span> </li> <li>Minimum of one-three years of industry experience </li> <li>Experience working in a manufacturing company that is certified to ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100 </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail; bias for action; good analytical skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills </li> <li>Experience with supplier management and auditing preferred </li> <li>Experience using an online ERP system and Microsoft Office or Google word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation apps </li> <li>American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification is a plus, as is Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. </li> <li>Ability to travel<span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559685":720,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":360,"335559991":360}"> +/- 30%</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Above and Beyond Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="none">AS9100D Lead Auditor Certification</span> </li> <li>Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action investigations; First Article inspections and FAA conformity inspections or test plans. </li> <li>Collaborating with suppliers on Supplier Corrective Action Request<span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":0,"335559685":720,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":360,"335559991":360}"> </span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
