Your work directly impacts partner capability, customer satisfaction, and Appian's market expansion through channel revenue.</p> <p><strong>THE OPPORTUNITY</strong></p> <p>As a Partner Technical Success Architect supporting North America, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to top-tier GSIs and enterprise delivery partners. This is a high-visibility, force-multiplier role where your architectural guidance directly impacts complex, mission-critical transformations for major enterprise clients. If you want to scale your technical influence by helping partners architect and deliver top-quality solutions using Appian, this opportunity offers unmatched scope and impact.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Guide partner delivery teams across North America to ensure their engineering practices and technical implementations consistently align with Appian’s highest architectural standards.<br><br></li> <li>Review complex enterprise application designs to ensure platform scalability, security frameworks, performance tuning, and long-term maintainability for mission-critical client deployments.<br><br></li> <li>Mentor partner technical leads, solution architects, and developers, building high-performing partner teams capable of delivering complex applications independently.<br><br></li> <li>Collaborate with North American partner leads, Appian Customer Success, and Technical Support to diagnose and resolve architecture and performance challenges on high-stakes, strategic accounts.<br><br></li> <li>Help create and curate reusable design patterns, integration blueprints, and fixes that directly feed into and enhance Appian’s AI tooling for partners.<br><br></li> <li>Provide technical subject matter expertise and support technical enablement across the global partner community by participating in live technical forums, Q&A sessions, and contributing to practical training and certification assets.<br><br></li> <li>Work alongside Appian’s Customer Success and Product Engineering teams to vet alternate channel solution architecture designs to ensure they are commercially robust, supportable, and repeatable.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.<br><br></li> <li>7+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Software Architecture, with a proven track record of designing, building, and deploying large-scale, enterprise-grade systems.<br><br></li> <li>Deep proficiency in Database Design, API Integrations, Security Frameworks, Performance Tuning, and Cloud Deployment Models.<br><br></li> <li>Demonstrated experience collaborating with GSIs, regional systems integrators, and enterprise delivery teams across North America.<br><br></li> <li>Proven experience conducting architecture reviews, code reviews, and establishing engineering best practices for scalable enterprise platforms.<br><br></li> <li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to command technical respect from partner executives and developer teams.<br><br></li> <li>Comfortable traveling up to 30% to visit key partner delivery teams, host technical masterclasses, and support critical on-site project discovery.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Senior or Lead Appian Certification is strongly preferred.<br><br></li> <li>Proven track record of defining commercially robust, repeatable architecture patterns alongside Product Engineering and Customer Success teams.<br><br></li> <li>We value experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow, as these skills translate well into our Enterprise-Grade Orchestration environment.<br><br></li> </ul> <p>#LI-MB1</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The base salary range per provided represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting.
