We're looking for a Staff Accountant with 1–3 years of experience to support day-to-day accounting operations and help keep our financial processes running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for an early-career accountant looking to continue building a strong foundation in core accounting. You'll gain hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reports, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close while working alongside an experienced team. Government contracting experience is not required. We'll teach you what you need to know. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, eager to learn, and takes pride in producing accurate work. Process vendor invoices accurately and on time, including coding, data entry, and approval routing. Prepare payment runs, maintain vendor records, answer vendor questions, and help resolve invoice discrepancies. Support accounts receivable and customer billing. Prepare customer invoices, record and apply incoming payments, and maintain accurate accounts receivable records. Track outstanding balances and assist with follow-up on past-due accounts to support timely collections. Help manage team member expenses. Review team member expense reports for accuracy, required receipts, and compliance with company policies. Enter approved expenses, maintain supporting documentation, and help team members navigate the expense reporting process. Support month-end close and general accounting. Prepare and enter journal entries, record financial transactions, and assist with bank reconciliations. Help prepare schedules, maintain supporting documentation, and ensure accounting records are accurate and organized to support the month-end close process. <s
