We are the world’s largest producer of sustainable wood pellets, which provide a low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels.</div>The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the shift to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and maintaining high-quality output. The supervisor also addresses any issues on the production floor, ensures equipment is safely used and well-maintained and provides regular reports on production progress.  Responsibilities <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day operations of the plant delivering key performance indicators (safety, quality, production and cost). </li> <li>Maintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance. </li> <li>Ensure a safe working environment is established and maintained. </li> <li>Enforce good housekeeping standards. </li> <li>Provide direction to team regarding duties and goals. </li> <li>Ensure paperwork & status reporting are completed timely and accurately  </li> <li>Ensure daily and consistent communications and shift meetings. </li> <li>Perform work assigned by Production Manager to ensure successful operation. </li> <li>Maintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance. </li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years industrial/manufacturing experience/wood products background. </li> <li>Must be proficient in basic computer knowledge. </li> <li>Must be self-motivated and detail oriented. </li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills. </li> <li>Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills. </li> <li>Must be a team player/previous management a plus.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent education.</li> <li>Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.</li> </ul> Working Conditions <ul> <li>Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees </li> <li>Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment </li> <li>Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.</li> &l
