The interface is often the dashboard, the API reference, the sandbox, the error states, and the logs, information-dense surfaces for a technical audience with little patience for friction. This role makes the developer's experience clear, fast, and trustworthy across those surfaces.</p> <p><strong>What you'll own</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Product design for the developer dashboard </strong>and integration surfaces.</li> <li><strong>Information design for docs and API reference, </strong>in partnership with Engineering and content.</li> <li><strong>Error states, empty states, sandbox and testing flows, </strong>the moments where developers get stuck.</li> <li><strong>Discovery with developers, </strong>and close collaboration with the DevEx PM and Engineering.</li> </ul> <p><strong>How you will work</strong></p> <p>You report to the Product Design & UX Director for Customer Lifecycle and are embedded with the Developer Experience PM and Engineering as the design owner for developer-facing surfaces. You adopt and extend the domain design system rather than owning it, partnering with the senior design-system lead on shared patterns, so your time is weighted toward product work from the start. The domain works from validated findings rather than assumptions and values direct, candid critique.</p> <p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Product-design craft </strong>with evidence of designing for technical, developer, or data-dense products. A portfolio is a must.</li> <li><strong>Comfort with information-dense UI,</strong> dashboards, tables, complex states.</li> <li><strong>The ability to partner closely with engineers. </strong>You work well alongside technical teams.</li> </ul> <p>A strong plus: having designed docs, API reference, or developer tools; technical literacy; fintech experience.</p>
