<p></p> <p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Senior Data & AI Engineer</p> <p><strong>Key Skills:</strong> Python, SQL, AWS, Databricks, Apache Spark, DBT, Generative AI, LLMs, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, TypeScript</p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> 7+ YOE.</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia.</p> <p><strong>Mode:</strong> Remote</p> <p>We at Coforge are hiring Senior Data & AI Engineer (#22552) with the following skill set.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and backend services using Python, TypeScript, and AWS, including agentic and LLM-powered solutions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Build scalable end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Databricks, DBT, Apache Spark, and related technologies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Design and implement scalable data architectures, modeling, governance, data quality, monitoring, and observability across AI and data platforms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, and Business teams to deliver production-ready solutions while driving technical decisions, engineering practices, scalability, and reliability.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>7+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong expertise in Python and SQL.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern data engineering practices.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience designing APIs, backend services, workflows, and distributed systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands-on experience developing AI or LLM-powered products in production environments.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, governance, and data quality frameworks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with DBT transformation pipelines, testing, and data validation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of scalable data architectures such as Medallion Architecture, Data Vault 2.0, and dimensional modeling.</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Background in conversational AI, agent-based systems, and AI platform development.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience with Fivetran, Delta Lake, and modern analytics ecosystems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of CI/CD practices for Data and AI Engineering.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience implementing monitoring, observability, and governance solutions for AI and data platforms.</p> </li> <li> <p>Familiarity with internal developer platforms, low-code solutions, or productivity tooling.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Posted On:</strong> 12-10-2026</p> <p>At Coforge, we hire professionals based solely on their skills and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.</p>
