We partner across the company <br>to ensure our offices, labs, and workplaces are safe, scalable, and prepared for the future.<br>As a leader within this organization, you will establish and drive a global EH&S strategy while strengthening emergency preparedness and crisis response capabilities across our <br>offices and laboratory environments worldwide.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <p>Global EH&S Program Leadership<br>• Own and continuously evolve Astera Labs' global Environmental Health & Safety strategy, policies, standards, and programs.<br>• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and international EH&S regulations.<br>• Develop scalable EH&S governance frameworks, processes, and performance metrics to support company growth.<br>• Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to reduce operational risk.<br>• Drive hazard identification, incident prevention, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.<br>• Serve as the company's primary EH&S subject matter expert and trusted advisor to leadership teams.<br>• Build and manage strategic vendor partnerships that support EH&S compliance, inspections, training, and program execution.<br>• Manage EH&S operating budgets while identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.</p> <p><strong>Compliance & Management Systems</strong><br>• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety management systems.<br>• Lead internal audits, third-party assessments, and regulatory inspections.<br>• Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation of program updates.<br>• Maintain required EH&S documentation, records, policies, procedures, and training materials.<br>• Serve as the primary point of contact with applicable regulatory agencies and government authorities.<br>• Support and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system requirements.</p> <p><strong>Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Management</strong><br>• Partner with Safety & Security on Astera Labs' corporate crisis management framework and program governance.<br>• Develop and maintain site-specific emergency response plans for global offices and labs.<br>• Establish and lead emergency response teams across global locations.<br>• Partner with Safety & Security and Facilities teams to conduct drills, exercises, and readiness assessments.<br>• Develop employee communications, awareness campaigns, and training programs that strengthen organizational preparedness.Culture & Engagement<br>• Champion a proactive safety culture across the organization.<br>• Drive employee engagement initiatives that increase safety awareness and accountability.<br>• Develop and deliver global EH&S and crisis management training programs.<br>• Partner with leaders to integrate safety considerations into workplace operations & laboratory environments.</p> <p>&l
