You will serve as the primary escalation point for AV event issues, lead complex Tier 2 programmes, and act as a thought partner with stakeholders. This role supports operations and event production within the EMEA time zone and requires minimal supervision, deep technical expertise, and proactive leadership.</div> <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Lead high-profile AV events, including video/audio mixing, camera operations, lighting, and floor management.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Act as <strong>Technical Director</strong>, <strong>Lead Video Engineer</strong>, or <strong>Technical Production Manager</strong> depending on event scope.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Attend and contribute to <strong>pre-show production meetings</strong>, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Use and follow <strong>run-of-show documentation</strong> to guide technical execution and show flow.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Test all <strong>playback elements</strong> and ensure readiness of switchers, graphics, mixers, microphones, and other gear.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Reset event spaces post-production to <strong>pre-event standards</strong>.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Serve as the escalation point for unresolved AV issues from lower tiers.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Demonstrate subject matter expertise in one or more AV domains (audio, video, lighting, stage, broadcast).</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Lead planning and pre-production calls for Tier 2 events; assist or lead pre-production tasks for Tier 1 events.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Provide AV operational support in customer offices, including content display, signal routing, recording, and live streaming.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Troubleshoot sophisticated AV systems and provide solutions; escalate unresolved issues appropriately.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Conduct daily technical checks and proactive maintenance of AV equipment.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Collaborate with stakeholders to understand event requirements and provide technical guidance.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Manage AV-related ticketing systems and document workflows and SOPs.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Support inventory management and quality control of AV equipment.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Mentor and support lower-level technicians across APAC and EMEA.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Ensure seamless execution of live events using platforms such as Zoom, Webex, MS Teams, and IPTV.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Apply advanced knowledge of <strong>audio, video, and networking signal flow</strong> to troubleshoot and resolve issues.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You Need to Succeed</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Education & Experience</strong></h3> <ul> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Media Production, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a live event technician, with proven ability to lead complex AV events.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Technical Skills</strong></h3> <ul> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Expertise in professional AV systems: audio, video, lighting, and control systems.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Advanced knowledge of AV signal routing, mixing, and troubleshooting.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Experience with live camera operations, vision mixing, and lighting techniques.</li> <li class="___ccc16d0 fje8fi8 f1ng9h0j f1bwykku f18jd3zf">Familiarity with integrated audio systems (e.g., Q-SYS, Dante, AES67) is a plus.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Software Proficiency</strong></h3> <ul> <li class="
