In addition to functional leadership, this role requires the ability to write or modify code, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop custom modifications to address complex business requirements.</p> <p>The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, supply chain users, and technical teams to analyze requirements, configure the system, resolve functional and technical issues, and deliver effective D365 F&O solutions.</p> <p>This is a primarily remote engagement requiring availability during US East Coast business hours. Candidates must be based in the United States, possess excellent English communication skills, and be willing to travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, occasionally when required.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <h3>1. D365 F&O Functional Leadership</h3> <ul> <li>Lead functional activities across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.</li> <li>Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from finance, accounting, collections, and supply chain stakeholders.</li> <li>Translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, and system configurations.</li> <li>Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend standard D365 F&O functionality or custom solutions based on business needs.</li> <li>Lead functional workshops, requirements discussions, solution walkthroughs, and stakeholder meetings.</li> <li>Provide functional guidance to business users and technical teams throughout implementation and enhancement activities.</li> <li>Ensure system configurations align with business processes, financial controls, and operational requirements.</li> </ul> <h3>2. Finance and Accounting</h3> <ul> <li>Configure and support core D365 F&O financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash and Bank Management.</li> <li>Support financial dimensions, account structures, posting profiles, journals, financial calendars, and related configurations.</li> <li>Manage and troubleshoot month-end and year-end closing processes.</li> <li>Support financial reconciliations, transaction postings, period-end adjustments, and financial reporting requirements.</li> <li>Configure and support customer payment processing, cash application, payment matching, and related reconciliation activities.</li> <li>Support collections processes, overdue receivables management, customer balances, and collection prioritization.</li> <li>Troubleshoot financial transaction errors, posting issues, and discrepancies between subledgers and the General Ledger.</li> <li>Assist with financial process improvements, automation opportunities, and controls.</li> </ul> <h3>3. Cash Application and Collections</h3> <ul> <li>Analyze and improve cash application processes, including customer payment processing, remittance matching, and payment reconciliation.</li> <li>Configure and troubleshoot relevant D365 F&O functionality supporting customer payments and cash application.</li> <li>Work with Accounts Receivable teams to resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and customer account issues.</li> <li>Support collections workflows, collection letters, customer aging, credit and collections processes, and outstanding receivables management.</li> <li>Investigate issues involving customer transactions, payment settlements, deductions, and account balances.</li> <li>Id
