This position will work with our talented employees within the software engineering, product, quality assurance and software support teams to ensure quality and functionality requirements are met. A successful candidate for this team will be dedicated to quality and can be flexible and productive in a fast-paced environment. </span></p> <hr> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Essential Duties</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Assist and perform in testing basic level tasks to test software changes meet design specification and are functioning within total quality management standards.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Research, test and report results of testing scenarios.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Write releases notes and new system enhancement documentation.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate on design teams regarding enhancements to products.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Test system documentation as necessary and suggest edits/enhancements.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Answer basic level questions regarding application screens and processes responsible for testing.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Communicates with developers and software engineers on product issues.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Gathers and interprets source materials such as design and test specification, design diagrams and schematics.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Leverage generative AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity, creativity, and problem-solving within the scope of the role.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Commitment to NISC’s Statement of Shared Values.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Other duties as assigned. </span></li> </ul> <hr> <p><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic level knowledge of quality assurance testing and automated testing tools, including mobile testing.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Possess basic ability to troubleshoot.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic level knowledge level of business-related software applications and services.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic level knowledge of NISC’s technology stacks.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic level knowledge of the Utility or Broadband industries.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic level knowledge of Project Management processes and theory.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic verbal and written communication skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent telephone/email etiquette and an ability to deal effectively with Member/Customers.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic research and problem-solving skills.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Possess a strong attention to detail.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic level ability to organize and prioritize.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Basic level ability to set and
