The role combines strong backend development expertise in Python, modern Angular front-end engineering, and DevOps automation capabilities to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and global engineering teams to build and maintain strategic applications while adhering to Deutsche Bank engineering standards, SDLC practices, and DevOps principles.</p> <hr> <p>Education Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or other STEM-related disciplines, or equivalent practical experience.</p> <hr> <p>Experience • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise application development. • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience. • Minimum 5+ years of Angular development experience. • Minimum 3+ years of DevOps and CI/CD implementation experience. • Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications through multiple complete SDLC lifecycles. • Experience working with global delivery teams in Agile environments. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Experience working within banking, financial services, or highly regulated environments is advantageous.</p> <hr> <p>Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Python and Angular. • Develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services using Flask, Django, or FastAPI frameworks. • Build responsive, modern, and reusable front-end applications using Angular. • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity and related DevOps tooling. • Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Ensure solutions are resilient, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. • Participate in code reviews and establish engineering best practices. • Support production deployments and resolve performance, security, and operational issues. • Drive automation initiatives across development, testing, and deployment processes. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team. • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Platform Engineering teams to deploy and manage cloud-native solutions.</p> <hr> <p>Mandatory Technical Skills Python Development • 5+ years of experience developing applications using Python. • Strong experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI frameworks. • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices. • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. • Experience with asynchronous programming and API integrations. • Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and SSO solutions. • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated test frameworks.
