This is a hands-on role based in our Kraków hub, partnering closely with Finance leadership in the US, People Ops and Legal. You’ll be the go-to finance own</span></p> <p><br><span style="color: rgb(64, 101, 255); font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Own accounting, tax and payroll for our Poland entity: monthly close, reconciliations, VAT and any other required filings, statutory reporting and year-end</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Run Polish payroll end-to-end or oversee our provider, with accuracy and on-time payment every cycle</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage accounts payable for the US entity: invoice intake, coding, approvals and payment runs</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Own accounts receivable and collections for the US entity: invoicing, cash application, aging reviews and proactive follow-up to reduce DSO</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaid, reclasses, inter-company) and support the US month-end close</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain inter-company accounting and transfer pricing documentation between our Polish and US entities, and coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Document processes, strengthen controls and automate manual work as we scale</li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(64, 101, 255); font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a Polish accounting firm, Big 4/mid-tier advisor or in-house finance team at an international or high-growth company</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep knowledge of Polish statutory accounting, VAT/JPK, CIT and KSeF e-invoicing requirements</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Hands-on experience with Polish payroll, and with managing external payroll providers</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong AP, AR and collections experience, with a track record of accuracy and measurable results (payment accuracy, DSO)</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with US GAAP and experience supporting a US-headquartered parent; ACCA, CPA, CIMA or similar credential is a plus</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel or Google Sheets, with enthusiasm for automation and new tools, including AI-assisted workflows</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Fluent English and Polish, comfortable working independently and communicating clearly with a US-based team across time zones</li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(64, 101, 255); font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Compensation, It's What We Do.</strong></span></h3> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">At Pave, we believe compensation should be as thoughtful as the people we hire.
