You will work on real factory equipment, not theoretical process work, and your designs will impact throughput, quality, safety, and production readiness.</p> <p data-start="1055" data-end="1415">You will collaborate closely with Production, Materials & Process Engineering, and other technical teams to bring equipment from concept through deployment. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants hands-on ownership, enjoys solving manufacturing problems on the floor, and wants to help build automation systems in a high-growth industrial environment.</p> <p data-start="1417" data-end="1435"><strong data-start="1417" data-end="1435">What you’ll do</strong></p> <ul data-start="1437" data-end="2318"> <li data-section-id="jlrncq" data-start="1437" data-end="1514">Design and develop manufacturing equipment from concept through production.</li> <li data-section-id="1spo3py" data-start="1515" data-end="1626">Evaluate, qualify, and engage vendors for components, subsystems, and full pieces of manufacturing equipment.</li> <li data-section-id="my9i0v" data-start="1627" data-end="1713">Perform failure mode analysis to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and performant.</li> <li data-section-id="yddj3l" data-start="1714" data-end="1835">Collaborate with Production, Materials & Process Engineering, and other peer teams to align projects to business goals.</li> <li data-section-id="hp51q8" data-start="1836" data-end="1930">Resolve issues encountered in production and develop and test engineering changes as needed.</li> <li data-section-id="11b6ldg" data-start="1931" data-end="2016">Ensure equipment meets requirements for throughput, quality, safety, and footprint.</li> <li data-section-id="s3voe6" data-start="2017" data-end="2102">Identify and drive improvement projects to improve current manufacturing processes.</li> <li data-section-id="1bts614" data-start="2103" data-end="2221">Document equipment so it is simple and intuitive for operators to use, even when the underlying systems are complex.</li> <li data-section-id="ss80kc" data-start="2222" data-end="2318">Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and handoff of equipment into reliable production use.</li> </ul> <p data-start="2320" data-end="2340"><strong data-start="2320" data-end="2340">What you’ll need</strong></p> <ul data-start="2342" data-end="3427"> <li data-section-id="jt85nk" data-start="2342" data-end="2453">3+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, automation, manufacturing, or a closely related environment.</li> <li data-section-id="1x4g27p" data-start="2454" data-end="2602">Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a similar engineering discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience.</li> <li data-section-id="1na046j" data-start="2603" data-end="2688">Familiarity with mechanical design tools such as CAD, FEA, PLM, or similar systems.</li> <li data-section-id="15nvzo7" data-start="2689" data-end="2742">Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.</li> <li data-section-id="1ma820e" data-start="2743" data-end="2836">Familiarity with industrial controls, including PLCs, HMIs, and common controls components.</li> <li data-section-id="t7ix6a" data-start="2837" data-end="2916">Experience owning or contributing meaningfully to automated equipment builds.</li> <li data-section-id="1h128z6" data-start="2917" data-end="3060">Strong mechanical design skills, including materials selection, statics/dynamics, tolerancing, component selection, and related fundamentals.</li> <li data-section-id="1js2otx" data-start="3061" data-end="3110">Strong written and verbal com
