Terms & Conditions

Version 2026-08-05 · Nod Careers (“Nod”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our processing of your data as described below.

1. The service

Nod is an AI-assisted job-application tool. It helps you build and tailor CVs and cover letters, search third-party job listings, and (if you choose) prepare and send applications on your behalf. Nod is not a recruiter, employer, or employment agency, and does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment of any kind.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the countries you target. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity on your account.

3. Credits & payment

Nod is pay-as-you-go. You purchase credits which are consumed per action (for example, per tailored resume + cover letter, and per auto-apply). Credits are non-refundable and non-withdrawable, and hold no cash value. The price you see at the time of purchase or action is the price that applies to you; any future price change applies only to actions taken after the change and to new customers — it is not applied retroactively to credits or rates you already hold.

4. Auto-apply — your authorisation

If you enable Auto-apply or queue a role, you authorise Nod to generate application materials from your profile and to send them to the relevant recruiter or employer on your behalf, using an email identity we assign to you. To protect you and employers, Auto-apply is limited to a maximum of 100 applications per day per user. You remain fully responsible for every application sent, and you may disable Auto-apply at any time.

5. AI-generated content

CVs, cover letters, match scores, and suggestions are produced with AI and may contain errors or omissions. You must review all materials before they are sent and are solely responsible for their accuracy and truthfulness. Nod does not knowingly fabricate qualifications; you must not use Nod to misrepresent your experience.

6. Third-party job data

Job listings are sourced from third-party providers and boards. We do not control and cannot guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any listing, and we are not affiliated with the employers shown.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nod unlawfully, to misrepresent yourself or others, to submit others’ personal data without authority, or to attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

8. Data protection & privacy

We process your personal data (including your CV and career details) to provide the service, under UK GDPR and applicable data-protection law. We use trusted sub-processors, including AI model providers and job-data providers, to deliver features; we require them to protect your data and, where available, not to train on it. You have rights of access, correction, export, and deletion, which you can exercise from your account or by contacting us. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nod is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from applications sent, content generated, or third-party listings. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law. Where liability is not excluded, our total liability is limited to the credits you spent in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Suspension, termination & changes

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using Nod at any time. We may update these Terms; when we make material changes we will update the version and ask you to accept again before continuing.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
