You will independently lead complex events and take responsibility for planning, technical leadership and show calling across larger productions.</div> <div class="x_elementToProof" data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">This is a hands-on position for someone who can support the client’s event leads by taking ownership of assigned production areas, from early preparation through to live delivery. You will work alongside an existing Events Technician, support their professional development and act as an escalation point when an event issue requires additional experience or technical expertise.</div> <div class="x_elementToProof" data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Approved offsite events may require travel within the UK or internationally. Some events and associated travel will take place outside standard working hours.</div> <div class="x_elementToProof" data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)"> </div> <div class="x_elementToProof" data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)"><strong data-ogsc="">Key Responsibilities</strong></div> <div class="x_elementToProof" data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)"><strong data-ogsc="">Event Planning and Delivery</strong></div> <ul> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Lead planning and pre-production calls for complex events.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Clarify requester requirements and develop an appropriate technical approach in partnership with the client’s events team.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Produce and maintain event documentation, which may include show specifications, run-of-show documents, equipment and crew requirements, content checks and rehearsal plans.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Coordinate vendors and other production partners as required.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned events.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Identify production risks at an early stage and recommend appropriate solutions.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Test playback, content and other show elements before live delivery.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Ensure event spaces and production equipment are fully prepared before each event begins.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Oversee rehearsals and support the complete technical execution of events.</li> </ul> <div class="x_elementToProof" data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)"><strong data-ogsc="">Live Production and Larger Events</strong></div> <ul> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Build, test and operate QLab sessions across multiple devices.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Manage cues, content, audio, video, presenter prompts and timers during live events.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Take ownership of assigned production areas from initial planning through to execution.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Apply practical show calling experience across events involving multiple presenters, cues and technical elements.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Lead pre-production workstreams on larger productions where required.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Undertake responsibilities such as show caller, stage manager or technical department lead, while the client retains overall Technical Director responsibility for the event.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Maintain clear communication across the production team throughout event delivery.</li> </ul> <div class="x_elementToProof" data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)"><strong data-ogsc="">Technical Support and Event Standards</strong></div> <ul> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Set up, test and operate event production spaces.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Check switchers, graphics systems, mixers, microphones and ancillary production equipment.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Troubleshoot audio, video and network signal paths using a structured and methodical approach.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Support hybrid and virtual events using platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom and livestreaming tools.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Use live production technologies that may include OBS, video switching, multiscreen management, Companion and Stream Deck.</li> <li data-ogsc="rgb(0, 0, 0)">Rese
